Meals on Wheels and Congregate Meals Programs
At Age Well Senior Services, we’re doing our best to make sure no senior citizen in need goes hungry by operating our vital nutrition programs–Meals on Wheels and the Congregate Lunch. Annually, we deliver close to half a million nutritious meals to seniors who are living at home and unable to prepare their own meals or go out to eat, and have little or no assistance to obtain adequate meals.

Designed by a Registered Dietitian, each delivery consists of a hot, ready-to-eat meal, a cold meal to eat later in the day, and a breakfast meal for the following morning. Volunteers deliver meals Monday through Friday between the hours of 10:30 AM and 1:00 PM. Frozen meals are available for weekends.
To complement Meals on Wheels and to facilitate socialization, Age Well Senior Services also serves hot, nutritional lunches for active older adults Monday through Friday at 10 senior centers in South Orange County. Seniors enjoy over 200,000 lunches each year, while dining with their friends at senior centers. For a complete listing of the centers where congregate meals are available, see below.
Meals on Wheels & Congregate Meals Highlights:
- Age Well Senior Services requests a donation of $6.50 per day for the three meals, though no one is turned away for inability to pay.
- Seniors living in South Orange County, can apply for Meals on Wheels by calling a senior center location from the list below. Please select the location nearest the recipient’s home.
- Congregate Meals are served Monday through Friday at the following locations. The suggested donation for this meal is $4.00.
