Due to its mission, AWSS continues to take the lead in Orange County in advocating, planning, and developing services for seniors, frail elderly, and disabled. AWSS achieved the following for FY 2010-2011:

Provided 78,606 hours of Adult Day Health Care and Adult Day Care services at South County Adult Day Services to an average of 53 participants and their families daily, Monday - Friday.

Served 468,705 Home-Delivered Meals to 1,568 seniors/elderly and 97,211 Congregate Meals to 2,274 seniors at 13 different locations throughout South Orange County.

Provided transportation for 50,399 medical appointments, Adult Day Services, Senior Centers and more.

Provided 4,045 hours of case management and 2,509 hours of In-Home Supportive Services to 423 elderly through the Case Management Program.

Helped to launch the capital campaign for the new senior center in San Clemente.
